Join me for an unforgettable journey through Liguria’s hidden western coast: a week of rich flavors, warm connections, and insider access to one of Italy’s most captivating and under-the-radar regions.
We’ll spend a full week exploring Liguria’s Ponente, right along the French border, discovering its food markets, hidden medieval villages, heroic wineries, artisan olive oil producers and much more. Along the way: hands-on cooking, meals with locals, sea views, and a day trip into southern France.

Liguria's western Riviera is the stretch of coast most travelers skip on their way to the Côte d'Azur or the more famous Cinque Terre region. This is exactly why I love it. We will be heading back in spring 2028 for a week among the medieval hill towns, heroic vineyards, olive groves and markets of the Ponente, with a day across the border in France, a cooking class together, and plenty of long meals with the people who make this corner of Italy special. Spring is a beautiful time to be here, with the hillsides in bloom and the first produce of the season on every table. Spaces will be limited to a small group, so if you'd like to be the first to hear when dates and details are announced, get in touch.
These trips are deeply personal for me. I host them with my husband Emilio, and they’re a natural extension of what we’ve been doing since I moved to Italy over 20 years ago: taking friends and loved ones around the country to discover my favorite places, dishes, traditions, and people.
Each trip is limited to just 12 guests, and it always feels more like a weeklong holiday with new friends than a traditional tour. We tend to attract really fabulous people: curious, warm, fun-loving food lovers who bring so much enthusiasm and generosity to the experience.
